My Story

Brokenness was my second name. I felt like a shattered glass doll with jagged edges. The fragmented pieces of my identity didn't fit well together, were obscure, and I had no idea who I was. I allowed, and even invited others to define my worth, and to make my life's decisions. My own dreams, goals, and decision-making abilities always seemed to be out of reach and unreliable. Pleasing everyone was my go-to comfort zone. My path to wholeness was forged through prayer, Bible reading, and my relationship with Jesus Christ. He forgave me for trusting others for my value and for trying to fix myself, without His help. As I took one step at a time out of a pit I found myself in, I could see a purpose in it all. He healed (and is still healing) my broken heart. My seasons of brokenness were many, and now I desire to encourage and mentor women seeking grace and restoration from their own brand of brokenness.
