A Prayer for Salvation

“Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. You died on the cross, You were buried, and You rose from the grave three days later to pay the penalty for my sin.

Please forgive me for trying to go my own way (without You). I repent and turn away from my sin. I believe in You and choose to live a life that pleases You.

I invite You to enter my life as my Savior and Lord. I want to follow You and learn about You by reading Your Word, the Bible.

Thank You for Your gift of eternal life and Your Holy Spirit, who now lives within me. 

In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Once, we were lost, broken, and without hope. Now we have been found, and having turned from our sinful nature, we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are His beloved now and for all eternity. Having been reconciled to Him, we have hope and assurance that we will see Jesus and our loved ones who have gone before.
